Leadership

Shared Leadership

The joys and responsibilities of ministry do not belong simply to the pastors of a church! As God has graciously gifted His people, we celebrate those gifts by providing opportunities for our laity (the non-clergy folks within the church) to glorify Christ through leadership and service opportunities. This Lay Leadership page paints a very vivid picture of the many people in service at First United Methodist Church.  Even this large catalog just begins to scrape the surface of the many ways people exercise their gifts and talents here.  On this page you'll find a listing of church leadership from the Coordinating Council down through each committee and team.  The latest Council minutes are also listed here as they become available throughout the year.  For more information on any church committee or group listed contact the church office.
