Our Missionary Jamie Sabo
Jamie graduated from Illinois State
University in Normal, IL in May, 2005 where she got her Bachelor's of
Science in Psychology. From there, she worked at a homeless shelter in
Bloomington, IL for almost two years. At that point, Jamie sensed the
Lord's leading to pursue overseas missions and joined New Mission
Systems International.In the summer of 2007 she went as an
NMSI intern to Kenya and decided to return in order to serve with
AfricaHope. Her heart is to work with women's ministry and adult literacy. She loves hearing people's stories and
watching as God brings about redemption to all of His creation. Jamie
also enjoys reading, music, dancing and talking over coffee. Jamie returned to
Kenya in January of 2010 to continue her work with the Massai people.
The primary focus of her ministry is to develop a Women's Discipleship
Program and adult literacy.

| Nicaragua 2010 - We sent a team to Leon Nicaragua from Jan 30 to Feb 6, 2010. While there, they engaged medical ministry, home construction, and sharing the love of Christ with the people of Leon.
