Laura is a longtime member of the church and has
been married to her husband Tom since 1982. They have
three sons, Josh, John, and Jamie. Laura was appointed
the Director of Music in 2005. She has been directing
the Sanctuary Choir since 2001, and has been overseeing
the church band since the mid 1990's. She attended Western
Illinois University and earned her Masters
of Music Education from Illinois
State University. She is the band director
for grades five through eight for Pontiac
Grade School District 429 and has been there
since 1991. She is also a member of the Pontiac Municipal
Band. Laura previously served as the Youth Pastor at
Pontiac First. In her free time she enjoys attending
her sons many activities.
